One of the biggest questions we receive in our industry is uPVC or Timber?

Each project is different however what if you could have the expensive aesthetics of Timber but only pay a fraction of the costs by having uPVC. That is exactly what our latest client asked for and as you can see quite clearly this is what they received. We removed all of the old rotting timber and then prepare the apertures for the new uPVC woodgrain sliding sash windows. The woodgrain effect adds to the traditional aesthetics and removes the shine created by standard uPVC.

One of the hardest things for any glazing company to do is create a finish to match the high end windows that have been installed. As you can see there is no such issue for the installation teams at Thames Windows and Doors Ltd. Each team has it’s own carpenter so we can offer the timber architrave finishes you see here.

From start to finish including the survey, manufacture, delivery and installation the project was completed within 6 weeks with the end result being a very happy client and a beautifully finished job on a lovely house in Kingston.
